I was playing with SpeedTest.net this morning and I found something interesting. This is the result I got this morning running the test from my Ubuntu Linux desktop (2 Ghz Pentium 4 512 MB Ram).

A few minutes later I ran the same test from a Windows XP Machine (Same hardware and network connection). Check out these results.

I ran both these tests using Firefox. Just for fun, I decided to try it on Internet Explorer 7.

It may be just me, but I see a little bit of a difference. YMMV.
